it bothers me that people say its non-reloadable.

It is reloadable given enough investment.

Have you ever tried it?

You can buy loaded rounds for what it takes in time and labor to re-prime that stuff. Plus the decapping is maybe 60% successful once you get the hang of it.

You can also re-swage the fired rounds and insert the cores in new gilding metal if you want to go that far, there is tooling to make new jackets from copper cups.

Some things are not practical and impossible from an economic standpoint.

That there are no commercial operations that mess with berdan primed brass should be a tell.
