To: what's up

Perhaps you live in the Boston-D.C. corridor. Many people west and south of that hallowed land sometimes wonder about the ability of those people, and of those living in blue cities, to empathize with the needs of those outside of those places. The geographic barrier may not be as large, but the psychological distance is far enough.

No, I don't live there and would hate to do so.

However, that doesn't negate the fact that back in colonial times we didn't have representation in the UK parliament.

Now, all states have representation with the opposition controlling the House and poised to control the Senate. No comparison.
