As it is morally wrong to commit young Americans, putting their lives at risk for foreign interests in actual military conflicts, where America has no direct interest; it is even more wrong to put those lives at risk in dealing with a foreign epidemic, where our casualties will come home infected with that which could well spread across America.

No one joins the military--one must assume--to fight for foreign interests; and certainly no one joins to volunteer to become a carrier of a terrible pathogen. Putting our youth in this sort of harm's way, is just one more unconscionable example of how far we have drifted from common sense.

Isn’t there anyone or anything that can stop this?? B O doesn’t follow the Constitution....he does what the REAL destroyers behind the scenes tell him to do but shouldn’t this be a crisis decision or does the CIF have all the power to do so with no recourse by the congress?? I’m ignert but this is way over the top, imho........;(

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to spend the money on developing a vaccine instead?

If I heard my kid was being deployed to Africa to fight Ebola, I’d think pretty seriously about advising him to desert.

This CINC is out of control.

I get that battling Ebola in Africa, rather than dealing with it here, is a good strategy.

That would have worked BEFORE YOU THREW THE BORDERS WIDE OPEN TO A PERMANENTLY DEPENDENT, LOYAL DEMOCRAT VOTER BASE.

There are respiratory virus running through cities now that nobody here has seen before that in places that map pretty cleanly to the very places all these poor South American illegal alien kids have been housed.

Unless and until they develop a SERUM, and then a vaccine - Black Agnes has some knowledge here about what would actually be most effective - economically and medically - then we should be seriously considering how to look at vital African supply chains and figuring out a plan b for them.

Oh crud. I am sick and tired of this president’s appetite for murdering our soldiers with wasteful and ignorant, radical ideological missions. He’s a freaking Muslim and he’s not on our side of this struggle with Islam or anything else. He does not respect American human life and property - double for the military.

If missionaries want to volunteer to go aid African states struggling with Ebola, great! But to order our troops over there is just wrong. What happened to the peace corps volunteers?
I thought that was developed to aid in situations like this.
