A complaint that two people were kissing? That amounted to probable cause? That it would have amounted to probable cause even if both parties were white? Sorry, I don't buy that.
Does it make sense to you that the police in the most liberal county in the most liberal state in the country, a place where morals is a quaint word from a bygone era, even 60 years ago, are going to react to some interracial necking?
Do you think it is possible the police may have had probable cause and it is the couple who were lying about what they were doin? That perhaps they went well beyond what is considered in good taste, even by Hollywood standards?
Yes. The police make bad decisions, too.

It's possible, but being possible is not the same this as having actually happened, or even having been proved to have happened. Do you have proof that this actually happened?
My best man’s sister was a “dancer.” I know how much they get THAT wrong in the movies. Hardly any of them were working their way through college.
I believe this took place in a very non-diverse borough of the City of Lost Angeles (Studio City?).
She probably has a legit gripe, re. being questioned merely for being black.
Why post on a conservative site?
You know I really love this site but I despair at the number of posters here who just don’t seem to get it. What? Is the title too complicated? Are the concepts of “free” and “republic” ideas way above their pay grade?
“Ooooh, she’s black, I don’t like her clothes, she’s not very pretty, she’s probably an Obama voter, her husband has tattoos, she was uppity to a cop.....blah, blahh, blaaah,”
Because as we all know the freedoms enshrined in the Constitution only apply to people like us, people who think like us, people who dress like us, people who vote like us, people who have the same skin color as us, people who agree with us....
George III would have loved some of the people on this site.
Have to guess they never saw Pretty Woman.
your last sentence is true. the preceding one isn't.
>>The reason why he would have asked her for identification was to check for priors and any warrants.<<
That is called searching ..... for a reason to arrest the suspect. Illegal unless you have reason to believe there was a crime committed by the suspect.
Identification to a cop is name, age, residence address.
Repeat for 37 years.
She was having public sex in a car, hence reasonable cause.
“According to the movies, prostitutes dont kiss on the mouth.”
I’m pretty sure the movies got it right. Think about it this way. Would you kiss a prostitute? You don’t have to answer...just think about it.
Ugh.
If the cop doesn’t witness any indication of them actually having sex the witness would have to sign for the charge to stick.
Said actress was on CNN and the large black female actor sked her what she was doing in the car, and she would not say... Case closed, IMO, she was having some time of sex.
Police were called because a couple was performing a sex act in a car, with the door open, in broad daylight.
Perhaps the witness did just that.

I'm not sure what you saw that made you conclude "case closed", but the viewers can decide for themselves.
Recently released pictures (which FreeRepublic does not want shown) show her and her boyfriend having sex in the car. TMZ has them.
Wow! They should have made HER the UN ambassador instead of Leo!
