I agree that he could have been more specific about to who he was referring and in what context.
If you consider the middle east, Israel may be their best ally. Jews may not have done nothing for them, but at least they are not chasing them with a scimitar like the muslims are.

If you think in terms of world religions, Judaism and Christianity are more closely related than either of them is to any other religion.
