Really ..????
What Senator Cruz was saying is found in Genesis 12:3, where GOD said to Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you.”
What GOD meant was exactly what He said - those who bless and support and defend Israel will in fact be blessed.
I stand with Senator Cruz .. I believe 100% in supporting, defending and blessing Israel. If people don’t agree with what GOD said, then I guess they don’t want or expect GOD to bless them. So be it ..!!!!
Yes. I see. Obama certainly would have been much better had he been in the senate for many more years. Like graham or McCain for instance
Lack of senatorial experience is the problem
Oy vey!
But is that 40% stat out of line with people in general? I’m thinking not.
I don't know where the "gaffe" is in that statement.
That all depends on the strength of one’s character and that’s the advantage the junior senator from Texas has over all the rest.
Correct ..!!!! And that’s why I sure hope he runs for President .. the left needs a little butt-kicking.
Maybe the gathering was itself just one of those Washington opportunities to network and look concerned, but how did Cruz's speech improve things for Christians in that part of the world? And if his goal was to improve relations between Arab or Arab-American Christians and Israelis or Jews, how did that work out?
Also, look at the comment that got Ted booed: Christians have no greater ally than Israel. Where is the US in that? Are we really not much of an ally for Middle Eastern Christians and other persecuted groups? Is that because Obama is so feckless? Or does Cruz really believe Netanyahu is the best friend of Christians in the region whoever's in the White House? Or is it just the sort of thing politicians blurt out without giving it much thought?
And Cruz should condemn the overthrow of such governments, or expect boos from those whose loved ones are being slaughtered.
This is more than likely the same group who supported John McCain (McCainiacs) - during the primary run-up to the 2000 election; and they were a horrid bunch to deal with.
Yeah, those actually are the people to be afraid of , lefty (author); they were steadfast against the Godless Soviets, and that shaped history. (Scofield Bible users not real likely to be "charismatic.")
I agree, with this caveat - when I am debating someone, and they display colossal stupidity (usually in the form of saying, “so what your saying is....” then proceeding to say something completely irrelevant to the point I was making, but outrageous and far from true - with no honest basis for that conclusion), in those cases I feel perfectly OK with sneering condescension to the full measure of my ability.
When folks lie, I might call them on it. But if they lie about me, or what I’ve said or what I think - I will beat them to a bloody intellectual pulp.
All that said, this was certainly not the case here - in fact, it is this writer who twisted Cruz’s words much as I described.
Don’t forget those great Presidents with executive experience...Jimmuh Carter and Slick Willy!!!
Plants, infiltrators and obamites.
There is nothing Christian about booing a person for standing with Israel.
Middle Eastern Christians dislike Israel.
Quite right.
Obama is the president with the second smallest degree of experience in government in our history, and look what a mess he's made of it.
Of course the only president with even less such experience, a single term in the House, was A. Lincoln. Oh, wait...
We presently have a black man in the White House...
Does this mean that all men and all blacks are unfit for office?
But is that 40% stat out of line with people in general? Im thinking not.
