Remember back in the mid 70s the crew the Soviet destroyer Storozhevoy high-jacked the ship from the Naval Base in Riga and attempted to sail for Finland. The Reds sent 13 ships in pursuit. Soviet aircraft bombed and strafed the ship. They finely damaged her enough she went dead in the water. Soviet Marines boarded her and retook control. The ring leader was already dead. Two others were court marshaled, one was shot, the other sent to prison. The entire crew was dishonorably discharged from the Navy.

Good recall. The Russian Navy is a pretty harsh place to serve. The incident with the Battleship Potemkin started over rotten meat and overly harsh discipline.
