I was in an elevator 2 blocks away when the first plane hit. What we saw when we emerged was like a war zone. Unfathomable horror. It is still fresh, and I suppose it always will be. The only thing that kept me balanced was my newborn son.
What has America learned since then?
Here we are in the midst of the second term of a guy who hates America and all she stands for. Our own government is lawless from the NSA to the IRS from one border to the next.
We’ve learned nothing.
