Sarah Palin had to make a choice, resign and remain financially secure, or not quit. If she had not quit she would have ended up spending every cent (and risk destroying her economic security, kids’ education future, food on the table, roof over her head) because Alaska does not limit lawsuits against their governor nor provide funds for their defense.
So, in short, you don’t care for her because she chose security and family over public service. Do you have kids? Do they know that you would kick them to curb so easily? Because that’s what you are saying.
Really? You buy that? You don’t think she could pick up the phone and get a loan that could have been paid off ten minutes after her term?
Jay carney gets $100k for a speech. You don’t thing she could have gotten that?

That may be true but the left still cost the Alaskan taxpayers over $2 million dollars.

So many things have happened since then, but I seem to recall that they pilloried her for trying to set up a legal defense fund to pay the lawyers she needed to hie to defend her. It was all about destroying her in any possible way, financially, politically, legally and in the media who was protected because she was a “public figure”.
See? Hillary is such a better role model than Sarah. She and Bill were "dead broke" and just look at them now!
