I did not say it will be happening soon but the die is cast.....if it’s his last term then we have a real shot at replacing him with a more conservative candidate. This will be a long hard slog as Dick Chaney put it but we are making great strides.
Yes, and there are a whole slew of RINO’S up for reelection in 2016 that will be continually looking over their shoulders as they vote in the next Congress, causing both McConnell and Reid lots of problems as they try thread the needle in getting liberal legislation through the Senate.
The problem is when the next election comes the GOPe still dominates the party and they makes sure another "go along get along guy" is the nominee, then we're told "he it's the best we can do". IOW, nothing changes.
The only path to conservatives taking control of the GOP is to not support those that refuse to represent us. If a candidate is no longer in touch with those he's supposed to represent (owning a home in the state is a start) then they should be sent packing.
If the GOPe thinks they can win big by undercutting conservatives then let them motivate the "moderates" to do the heavy lifting.
