William Schabas, the Canadian professor who was appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council to head a commission of inquiry into Israels military operations in Gaza, on Wednesday insisted that he is not anti-Israel, despite the many remarks he has made in the past proving the contrary.
Speaking to the Arab-language newspaper Asharq al-Awsat, Schabas claimed that even if Spiderman was heading the probe, they wouldve attacked him.
I do not hate Israel, he declared, but also said, I will put my prior positions aside.
This is an investigation that is necessary, Schabas said. I will not resign.

His beliefs and bias will never be forgotten. In this case, the report is already done and ready to be published before any information has been collected.
Seems puzzling that the behavior of Hamas elicits so little interest...wait, this wouldn't be one of them double standards...naah!
Not difficult to figure that out from the abomination that allowed a Nazi to be its secretary-general and let him declare Zionism “racism”.
Is he objective?
William A. Schabas, a professor at Middlesex University (London) is a central academic figure in lobbying for “lawfare” against Israel at the International Criminal Court (ICC), including spearheading a letter to the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute. After the January 2009 Gaza War, Schabas signed an Amnesty International statement that “the events in Gaza have shocked us to the core” and calling for a UN war crimes inquiry into that conflict, which was soon formed under the direction of Richard Goldstone.
The exact opposite of objective. Just what the “Human Rights” Council wants, just like they got in the Goldstone “Report”.
Hamas - what’s that? The rockets fired off themselves. They owe their construction to Allah - untouched by human hands. The concrete for the tunnels arrived on its own and knew how to form itself into tunnel walls according to its own innate intelligence.
UN report never mentions Hamas.
