Immigration reform just went from extremely unlikely to impossible - Washington Post A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows 27 percent of Americans strongly oppose "a new path to citizenship for illegal immigrants" topping the 21 percent who "strongly support" such a path. This is close to the reverse of survey results taken in April 2013. What's changed? From the story: "...the recent controversy over the southern border and Obama's delayed executive action appear to have only made real reform less possible."
NBC/WSJ/Telemundo Poll: Latino Voters More Sour On Country, Obama - NBC News Pollsters for NBC/WSJ also found that a growing number of Latino voters "think the country is headed in the wrong direction" and are growing disillusioned with Obama 47 percent approve of his performance, compared to 62 percent in April 2013. Latinos remain the only group in which a majority "favor legislation or executive action to change the current laws and policies."

They wanted the Latinos to blame the republicans and come out for democrats. But it seems that they will blame Obama, and not come out in force in November.
I wonder why.

wow...
It seems Latinos aren't dump lemmings like 95% of African Americans.
Without the vast majority of Latinos supporting Democrats... it's over for the Democratic party. Anything close to a 50-50 split of the Latino vote on election day spells doom for Democrats since whites OVERWELMINGLY hate Democrats, and still make up the vast majority of voters.
Whether or not that would be good or bad aside, why should we be for that?
Round up ALL illegals and ship em back to where they came from.
Secure the borders.
“Latinos” are a huge and diverse group. The third or so who are open to voting Republican are the same ones who don’t want amnesty and open borders. They are legal and know the newcomers will be taking jobs away from those who are here legally. That’s why pandering with amnesty is doomed to failure.
True.
But we now have a situation where another 20% to 1/3 of pro-amnesty Latinos are ticked at Obama and are looking at staying home on election day.
THAT’LL swing a couple elections the GOP’s way. Starting with, I think, Colorado.
GOP needs to exploit that, or at least figure out a way to not screw it up.
Unlike Black voters, Latinos seem to get the idea that “if you promise me a Skittles-pooping Unicorn, then dammit, at some point you had better DELIVER a Skittles-pooping Unicorn!”
good.... let those who want more illegals sit at home and pout
or at least figure out a way to not screw it up.....Uh, Oh.
No need they are handing out SS Cards. This is the Executive Action spoken of!
