U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley's annual 99-county tour — known in political circles as “the Full Grassley” — puts him above most of his Senate peers for trips home.

I made more than 200 "tours" of the Deming & Park Avenue area last year, and had only one encounter with an apparently homeless man. We exchanged pleasantries, wished each-other well, and went on our ways.

I'd be willing to bet this is more interpersonal relationship, outside of the self-serving kind, Grassley or any other senator had last year on their "trips home."
