According to Scarborough Sports Marketing, as of 2013 about 75% of all people who consider themselves NBA fans are white. When you get into who attends games, whites are still in the majority. But all types of fans taken into consideration, white fans dominate by far.
What’s your point? Black fans attend games more than whites who choose to stay away from arenas...?
This is likely being carefully orchestrated. Levenson is shrewd. He saw the big payout that Sterling received after all of the controversy and decided to try to get a piece of the grievance-industry action while unloading his stake in the team.
I am not sure that lightning will strike twice here as the shock value is gone and there simply aren't that many people with $1b or $2b sitting around looking to scoop up NBA teams, particularly in a market like Atlanta.
This Kool Kat needs a better mistress. It is too obvious what is going on here after the sale of the Clippers (2 bil.)
My point is there are still a lot more white NBA fans there are black fans. A poster stated otherwise...I corrected him.
Sounds to me like he was looking for an easy way to sell the team and get out.
