It's over: whether due to the complete domination of centrally-planned markets by a few central banks, whether as a result of HFTs forcing out all human traders and investors, whether due to volatility plunging to record lows and complacency at record highs, whether viewers simply aren't impressed by the new young, female faces that are increasingly taking over the primetime financial TV slots, because people are tired of Cramer's endless "caffeine" high and endless attempts to justify a record disconnect between manipulated record high "markets" and a stagnant economy in which some 53 million workers are "freelancers", or simply because video game consoles don't watch TV, America's interest with finance and the stock market is over.

Cramer pushes individual stocks. Retirees with an IRA know that boring index funds beat stock picking most of the time. Even Warren Buffet has trouble beating the S&P 500. Better be safe and boring than lose money. Why watch CNBC if you’re in index funds?
Fox Biz coverage of US Markets is much better, without the Obama ra-ra BS, and Bloomberg does international the best, by FAR.
Nope—gave up his show. Still makes appearances on the network, I believe, and still has his Saturday radio program.
Larry Kudlow was the worth listening to, and also Rick S. Not much else.
Maria Bartiromo has flown the coop. What is left worth watching?
Well, I would say that they didn't understand that it's not lucrative to offer an information product to a low-information audience.
I had been saying for years that Larry needs to move over to Fox Business... Last time I was back home Larry still had his Saturday radio program... on WOR, I think.
It’s gotten unwatchable. Just UN-watchable.
Most people don’t like being pissed on while the people on TV tell them it’s raining. They just change the channel to something more realistic, like the SciFi channel.
The stock market is not the economy. Never was. The MSM is clueless about main street.
It doesn’t make sense. Too much cognitive dissonance with the market near record highs, and an economy in the dumps since 2008.
CNBC cannot let the truth of market manipulation by insiders get out because the network is controlled by the insiders.
“They celebrate money printing and everything thats wrong with America now. The sooner Santelli moves to Fox the better”
Celebrate money printing is an understatement. Do you happen to remember when Alan Greenspan retured? They could barely contain their fawning and adoration for juicing the markets all those years.
As far as Rick Santelli, I’m surprised he’s still there. Either CNBC’s paying him megabucks to stay, or he’s holding out for the perfect offer.
I love the smell of CNN being napalmed in the ratings. It smells like victory.
your off topic and out of line!
(but correct)
oops.
I love the smell of CNBC being napalmed in the ratings. It smells like victory.
Im just the opposite in a way...I need the low information audience to bulk up my sales because the hi info guy is already buying from me....
I remember back in the mid-nineties hearing one talking head on FNN say to another, “I don’t understand why international stocks don’t do better. We push them as hard as we can.”
Stopped watching these Obama lovers way back. Smug crony capitalists lying through their teeth.
FOX should grab Rick Santelli... Give him a business show to do what he wants with...
The financial market game is rigged and the guests on CNBC flaunt it along with their taxpayer-USA China-Fed debt orchestrated gains. When they fawned over Greenspan the former king of excess liquidity I had to turn it off.
Wall St wants the USA overrun with illegals and foreign labor. They want more global outsourcing of jobs to China, and they want US sovereignty to be a distant memory. Globalism and a government that kowtows to the globalists is the ultimate threat to America and it is being implemented while the sheep argue about politics.. Patriotism is being made politically incorrect by these people because money is more important to them than country.
