I guess you realize that you just compared the size of just a single NATO nation's"army" troops, against the size of the entire Russian active military of Army, Navy, and Air Forces, and all active.

BTW, except for parts of the Marine Corps (Russia has a version, too) most of those US military people you cited will not be in on the ground fight against the Russians. For instance, USAF enlisted personnel are mostly support people, since only commissioned officers fly and the USAF hasn't had warrant officers in many decades. Plus the Russians will be in their own neighborhood, with short logistical lines, whereas we will be many thousands of miles from our bases.
First get it straight, the threat isn’t NATO invading Russia, it is Russia trying to conquer NATO, and being the invader.
NATO and America defending itself, as afar the structure of the American military machine, we structure it to kill and destroy, not to defeat Russians in one on one bayonet attacks. Although NATO forces outnumber them by millions anyway.
You sure take a strong pro-russian position, but it is built on air, not military capabilities.

No, you guys trying to portray Russia as having somehow leaped into the role of being the world’s most powerful nation on earth, undefeatable by all the forces the United States and the Western world can bring against it if it moves against us, is a bizarre and unexplainable fantasy.
It is some sort of insanity that I doesn’t make any sense.
I think we should strengthen our military but not waste it in rata$$ foreign involvements. If any of our troops dies in the Ukraine conflict, then they died for nothing. I don’t care what the specifics of that complicated mess might be. Certain forces, economic and international, seem desperate to push us into another war. I’m not for it and that’s my position.

NATO exists to protect us from the Russian threat, and since Russia is currently invading and conquering again NATo is a topic on these American forums.

Also NATO was formed to counter a Warsaw pact in Europe which is a history long time ago. There is no Soviet forces across Fulda Gap and they came home unilaterally.
BTW,what did you feel when the Soviets have put their boots in Cuba, if you was around at the time?

No, you weren’t joking, you have refused to say what type of unit you serve in, and one night after you claiming that I knew more about you than you know about me, I reminded you that I had told you about my type of military service, and that no one here that I know of refuses to give general information about what kind of unit they served in, you then linked me to a video involving your unit.
You’re so right about NATO and Russia’s nonsense of pretending to be scared. It makes no sense because NATO doesn’t have the power to fight with Russia. Russia and its supporters both chide and mock the West for being weak and then claim they’re afraid of NATO. They do the same thing about our efforts to place anti-ballistic missiles in Europe to defend against Iran. Russian knows the number of missiles they have are so great that we could never stop them with the effort NATO and US would make. Yet they raise a fuss as if the effort were directed at them, knowing full well that it’s not.
