It is more likely that Putin, would OK the uses of tactical nuke against a Ukrainian troop concentration.

So have we upgraded our nuke launchers to 5¼” floppies instead of 8” ones?

There is a very common “prophecy” out there that says Russia invades Canada and the USA from a fog shrouded base near the Arctic. Who knows what Putin is up to?

Russians in general are WAY TOO RATIONAL to consider using tactical nukes in a regional European theater. I belive that the next nuke we see used in open hostilities will be chucked by a Middle Eastern crazy.

I like the complex and long games. Nuke Mexico City and watch all hell break loose on the southern border.

Putin doesn’t have to launch a nuclear weapon. We’re already toast. China and Russia are poised to tag team us. All he has to do is give a nuclear weapon to the right people and that would start the whole thing off.

America needs to immediately depose Obama and select a leader for whom Putin would have NO DOUBT about his willingness and ability tom project American power and might .

The great power and might of the U.S. military was the only thing that kept the Soviet Union at bay for years . It should still be a factor today . But it all comes down to who we select as our leader . Never again should American voters be allowed to elect such an unqualified dipshit to the office of POTUS . Amend the Constitution : No person , having never served honorably int eh United States Armed Forces shall hold the office of President of the United States .
America needs to be led by warriors , not by lawyers and to hell with what the ‘progressive Leftist Liberal ‘ pukes say or think . To hell with what that vociferous entitlement minions say or think . None of them keep our country safe and great . None of them deter the likes of Russia or ISIS . They all need to be relegated to the back bench of our society .

Boy, the propaganda’s flying thick & fast this weekend.

The premise is so stupid I’m without words.

Before he uses a tactical nuke in combat, I would expect Putin to light off a Hydrogen Bomb in a relatively unpopulated area of Russia or international waters, to get our attention.

It could backfire on him though, as the world may then get a TASTE of what an EMP is, and what nukes are capable of. Might just wake us up a bit.

This talk of nukes is silly. Putin could just roll in tanks and these little countries could do little. Nukes are required against strong countries not weak ones.

To even let *one* nuke fly would be indicative of a deep, deep mental illness.Putin's utterly amoral but he's not crazy. He's much more likely, for example,to shut off energy exports to Europe until they cry “uncle”.

If Russians keep dying as this story suggests then maybe they will fade away. But I doubt it.

WTF is Putin doing stirring up this mess when civilization itself - including in Russia - is being threatened by ISIS?! What a fool.

Well, the golfer in chief (GICOTUS) has already thrown Poland under the bus. I’m pretty sure that’s why we’re witnessing what is going on in the Ukraine at present.

........Would Putin commit suicide by letting his missiles fly against the United States? No........

.........well, hmmmm.........not so fast!

Some would argue, me being one, that Putin has such a low/dismissive opinion of Obama, Biden, Reid, Rice, Brennan and Kerry (the top 6 decision makers) that he might mis-calculate!

I find the idea that Putin would nuke a foreign city ridiculous.

A Muslim fanatic would nuke someplace before Putin would.

Putin is winning anyway in the current geopolitical politik. Why would he nuke something?

Additionally, has anyone noticed how so many of the computer interruptions now are suddenly being blamed on the Russians?

Smells fishy to me.

Obama’s “flexibility” is really working out well, isn’t it? < /sarcasm>

.. limited nuclear strike against a couple of European capitals -- not London or Paris, but smaller ones, presumably in Eastern European countries that have only recently joined NATO.

How to become a worse monster than Hitler or Stalin in two quick steps. Putin the Terrible.

Sounds like nonsense. Looking at the message coming from Russian propagandists/useful idiots it seems the tactic is to scare Europe (which isn't difficult and America can't do much on Russia without Europe's involvement) to the point Soviets get a free hand to re-annex most of former republics. Looks like they want to achieve “let's do nothing or else these crazies will trigger off nuclear war” effect. Putin is bluffing the same way Krushchev did during the Cuban crisis.
