All right, so we're slightly premature. By one measure - according to Bishop Hill - we're still a month away before "no global warming" achieves its coming of age.
But by other measurements, as Matt Ridley notes in the Wall Street Journal, we're already as much as 19 or even 26 years into "no global warming" "depending on whether you choose the surface temperature record or one of two satellite records of the lower atmosphere."

Percentage that terrorists will get nuclear weapons in the coming years and use them: 100%

So now there are VOTERS who have never seen an increase in temperature in their entire life.
It was a real bad idea for the democrats to hang their hat on “global warming”.
My sister in-law is moving to Florida because of global warming. She lives in New York now. They had a brutal winter earlier this year. She figured it out that things are not warming, like she was told by the democrats. She figured out that democrats were lying to her about global warming. It opened her eyes on other things. She has gone from being a Kennedy-democrat to a solid conservative in a very short period of time. She wants out of democrat-controlled New York.
Now you would think that all the people worried about global warming would rejoice at such wonderful news, instead they’re in a funk.
Why? Because this happy news takes away one of the weapons they would like to use to control our lives.
No better evidence than their depression at the good news exists to prove that their “concern” about AGW is all about politics and nothing about science.
They will eventually turn on a dime and use the ice age to control our lives.
I said the same thing about twenty-five years ago when the commies er warmists first started in on the thing. I said GREAT!! finally winters where I don't freeze my posterior off. Now my hopes are fading. Cold winters are back and the summers haven't been terribly warm either. This summer was cooler than normal where I am. Drat.

You are absolutely correct - the left will use anything at their disposal to control us - even if they have to make it up.
The fight with the left is endless and never won.
