ME-109 if I remember right had a 20 or 30 mm cannon. The barrel went through the propeller hub.

The Focke Wulf 190 was equipped with two 13-mm MG-131 machine guns in fuselage; two 20-mm MG 151-20E cannons in wing roots and two more in the outer wing panels.
