The nations largest labor federation took aim Tuesday at the conservative Koch brothers in ads designed to highlight the billionaire industrialists political clout and to gin up liberal voters. [ ]
For years, the Koch brothers have epitomized how corporations and the super-rich have tried to systematically destroy our democracy, president of the 12 million-member AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said. Today, theyre finally meeting their match.

And oh yeah: the Koch Brothers are libertarian.
The average voter out there thinks the Koch Brothers are either a soft-rock duo or a couple of whiz-bang prospects for the Seattle Mariners.
They forgot to mention George Soros, Hollywood, and the very ultra rich Democrats in Congress.
The jerk Trumka is right.....the super-rich HAVE tried to destroy our democracy.
George Soros, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg, Tom Stoyer, Michael Bloomberg, and a bevy of other left-wing billionaires come to mind.
I didn’t know the Koch Bros. were running for anything. Anybody know what Little Dick Trumka and his union fags are talking about?
Good, let them waste their time and money running against two guys who aren’t even on the ballot (same goes for Harry Reid). That’s less money they have to spend in battleground states where it might do some good...
I can’t help but wonder how many libs notice while watching Nova on PBS that the Koch’s are a major funder.
Using their logic vis-a-vis Israel, they ought to demand Nova be taken off PBS because of Koch’s funding or for Nova to “divest” itself from Koch.
The Koch’s or one of the big conservative PAC’s should run an ad highlighting how much labor unions contribute to dems and to corrupt and thuggery nature of unions.
LOL!
The front organization for the MOB doesn’t like successful business guys who disagree with their communist supporters like Soros.
One thing they are accomplishing with this is to show a billionaire backing GOP.
We need to somehow expose Soros big-time.
Maybe someone should point out the US is a republic and not a case of 2 wolves and one sheep voting on what's for supper.
And when his hand gets tired the MSM takes over.
Richard Trumka is 49
In 1995, he was making $165,000 as secretary-treasurer to his now $293,750
The guy looks like he never worked at a regular job, always union business - probably cracking heads. Plus the money he makes publicly is not what he makes privately.
Anyone here making $165,000 at 30 years old and not an engineer/doctor?
