Brit Hume: Obama told a friend of mine before he was elected, “Wouldn’t it be great for the world

Saw this last night on Fox and had such a good laugh, I feel obliged to pass it along today. There’s no way to prove he said it, but as Megyn Kelly’s quick to show with archived audio, that quote is well in line with the kind of crap Obama was telling himself and the rest of the electorate circa 2007. The most famous summation of his I-am-the-change approach to problem-solving is this one from Andrew Sullivan, written right around the time that audio was recorded:

What does he offer? First and foremost: his face. Think of it as the most effective potential re-branding of the United States since Reagan. Such a re-branding is not trivial—it’s central to an effective war strategy. The war on Islamist terror, after all, is two-pronged: a function of both hard power and soft power. We have seen the potential of hard power in removing the Taliban and Saddam Hussein. We have also seen its inherent weaknesses in Iraq, and its profound limitations in winning a long war against radical Islam. The next president has to create a sophisticated and supple blend of soft and hard power to isolate the enemy, to fight where necessary, but also to create an ideological template that works to the West’s advantage over the long haul. There is simply no other candidate with the potential of Obama to do this. Which is where his face comes in.

Consider this hypothetical. It’s November 2008. A young Pakistani Muslim is watching television and sees that this man—Barack Hussein Obama—is the new face of America. In one simple image, America’s soft power has been ratcheted up not a notch, but a logarithm. A brown-skinned man whose father was an African, who grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii,

The smiling face of Obama in his golf cart is identical to the fleshed out face of the pirate’s iconic Jolly Roger.

I think a military coup would be appropriate at this point. I want to see his ass kicked out onto Pennsylvania Avenue.

I think he’s purged the forces who would even consider it. Especially upper ranks.

I think Obama is retarded. Not in the natural way...but in the way that molested children cease developing after their molestation.

Obama is still living in pre-Frank Marshall Davis time.

No yellow stain, all unicorns and skittles.

I would support that. But wait a minute...I think the IRS is knocking on my front door.

Obama is a tool of the same force that has frozen the UK social services such they that cannot report the grooming gangs who rape the youth of Britain.

In the UK they are called Common Purpose. They are perverting our culture and our society...but they hide behind the government.

How the he|| was Reagan a re-branding” of the United States?

Reagan was the quintessential American president.

Pretension is a prerequisite for liberal.

“Aren’t I just grand. I’m so wonderful. Everyone wants to be me.”

RE:”Brit Hume: Obama told a friend of mine before he was elected, “Wouldn’t it be great for the world if I were president?”

Obama’s winning strategy:

1) Act shocked and surprised and blame your predecessor.
2) Cut and run
3) Give a condescending lecturing speech to the rest of us who he looks down on (”You don't understand...’)
4)Problem solved : Go golfing, or a Democrat fundraiser.,

Chris Matthews was ranting today because those mean ISIS killers are making a fool out of Obama showing him as impotent.

Oh ya - the world has never been so fortunate.

Have those oceans receded yet?

Actually, he is looking worn and thin and pale. His eyes look like they’re made up. His voice has no passion and he just drones on, saying anything that comes to mind.

I believe he has serious emotional issues, he’s using drugs, or both.

Vice President Biden made a speech today. It was a Red Blooded speech of patriotism and a promise to kill ISIS.

This was actually Biden’s first campaign speech. He knows Obama is political poison. The Vice President of the United States is actually distancing himself from his President. Hillary was first but was more subtle than Biden. I suspect we will now see a contest between Biden and Hillary of how to distance themselves farther and farther from Obama.
