Democratic nominee Chad Taylor dropped out of the race for U.S. Senate in Kansas on Wednesday, an 11th hour move that could clear the way for his party to rally behind and independent candidate and potentially change the math in the battle for the Senate majority.
Taylor, who raised little money and had not gained traction in the campaign, submitted a letter to the Kansas secretary of state's office that said he was withdrawing from the contest, without providing any further information. An e-mail to his spokesman seeking more information on why he bowed out was not immediately returned.
The move, which came on the last day for ballot changes, could clear the way for Democrats to rally behind Greg Orman, an independent candidate who has left the door open to caucusing with both parties if elected. Orman, who used to be a Democrat and a Republican, has been viewed as a more viable opponent against Sen. Pat Roberts (R), who polls show is vulnerable. Orman has raised a lot more money than Taylor.

You are completely misguided about Reagan, Johnny.
Do a little research before you spout nonsense.
As CalGov he made more than a few RINO compromises. As POTUS, he championed Ayn Rand and Adam Smith - both LIBERTARIANS.
Reagan remains the best POTUS of my lifetime. (I’m 61). You would not vote for him today because he’s not the pure conservative you imagine yourself to be.
I surmise that you really don’t know what you re talking about.
Oh... I think I know what I'm talking about.
There's a difference between a conservative that makes a mistake that he admits, and just caving to the statists.
I'm not looking for purity. That's a lie spread by liberal republicans that were embarrassed they nominated someone that didn't match their party platform at all...
It's long-term, not short term.
Liberal republicans must be politically destroyed.

“YOU are the reason the republicans became liberal. You rewarded liberal republicans with your vote.
I won’t vote for any liberal, especially republican liberals.”
Very well said!! :)
He didn't bring them, they were stowaways. We had a lot of democrats that recognized Reagan would be elected so they changed parties, infiltrated the GOP and became the GOPe, leaders.
Well it matters God vs god makes a difference.
I notice you made the change on your home page, sort of.
Freedom wins, because more people will see how corrupt and Marxist the Democrats really are.
Libertarians opposed tax-payer funding of abortion and would like the see the issue resolved by the states, as they did prior to 1973.
Simply means that I am a conservative not for sale.
I no longer vote for leftist Republicans.
I have seen state libertarian parties that support abortion on demand.
That, I can't support, and can use classical libertarianism to refute that position with the argument that the State exists only to protect humans from violence from each other and nature. Including unborn humans.

As a side, the filters placed on the media currently will be dwarfed by that passes for news as more dems get elected.
In order to see corruption and Marxism writ large, the media has to expose it. Witness what goes on currently, and what do you see served up on the six oclock news?
Present company excluded, does Joe average voter out there see anything amiss? Anything?
