As to Christianity in America, an ABC poll shows 83% of the population identifies themselves as Christian or having Christian values, 13% identify as agnostic/athiests and 4% as Jewish, Muslim or other. It is the culture borne of Christianity that allows the other religions to exist in the same country without persecution, something that has never been true of Muslim nations:
