OK....Why can we NOT have all of those dogs brought home....KEEP them on “active duty” but change their mission to being companions to our warriors that NEED service dogs or companions to assist them with PTSD???????????
It is a WIN WIN!!! (But GOD knows our politicians can not stand for a win win for our military!!/S)
Lt Dan might have a NEW cause to fight for! We have money to send singers to the troops...how about money to bring our trooper dogs back home!!!!!!!
I am so proud of that Ranger that called in......no way in HELL would a Ranger leave one of his own behind!!
ATFW!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring our dogs back!!! I agree. That sounds like a hash tag but a worthy one.
Secure our border too!!!
Put the dogs on the freakin border! Easy way to weed out the Muslims! (SNARK)
Not sure if they are talking about official “service dogs”
or just “plain old dogs”...
(I know I might take some grief for that)
Soldiers have always had a tendency to adopt pets
to help them wile away some of the idle hours.
My nephew’s unit in Iraq had a pet fox.
I don’t know what happened to him after they pulled out.
You just can’t bring back every single animal
that a unit has adopted or become attached to.
I’ll be back in a bit,
Dixie dog is laying here beside me wanting her nightly belly rub.
Yes indeed!! Perfecto. I am only 4 hours away from the border and I think the Dogs will do a great job in addition to the border patrol doing the best they can under the current situation.
Cheers
They were speaking specifically about military working dogs, not strays.
military working dogs are classified as “property” by uncle sam
Not the Uncle Sam I worked for, for 30 years....but lately, I would believe anythng ....given the recent chantges in DOD, Im guessing soon we will have working gerbils!
Thanks much for the ping, Biggirl. Listening to Mark on the delay (WJR760-Detroit).
HOORAY Mark!
