Possibly, but don’t forget all those who’ve already paid off their loans. They’ll be pretty irritated that behaving responsibly cost them money, as it usually does when Dems are in control.
And a lot of people who managed to get through school without massive debt, by working, scholarships, savings, etc., could also be miffed to see those who partied and borrowed end up being bailed out of their loans.
Two-edged sword, I think, like many liberal moves.
