Gave it up because the USA promised we'd protect them.

Broken promises are a dime a dozen. The next promise to be broken is NATO failing to come to the aid of other NATO countries in the Baltics. Question: what do we do about it, starting now?

You mean like 2003 when NATO refused to come to the aid of Turkey when asked if it would....

Seriously..read it, NATO is about as useful as water to a wicked witch......
