I remember Qaddafi's reaction to 9-11. He seemed shocked at the enormity of it all. And he gave Bush the ability to use Libya in the fight against Iraq. When Obama went after him Qaddafi seemed truly confused that America would stab him in the back after he helped out to take down Hussein. And then Obama takes him down. Now I am no fan of any tyrant, but I sorta felt sorry for Qaddafi.
Obama de-stabilized the entire Middle East. He took down every dictator who was keeping peace in his country - from Mubarak to Quaddafi, on and on.
He’s got a strategy alright but it’s not to protect the U.S.
Qaddafi gave up his nuke program after we went into Iraq in 2003. See

Queerdaffy was chastened by Reagan’s attack and from a US point of view, and perhaps to many Libyans, he was far preferable to the violence and chaos that reigns today. I’m sure he felt douuble-crossed by the US. US foreign policy should always be based on what’s best for the United States. I guess that is now a radical viewpoint.
Ditto, also when Bush was in office Libya suspended its Nuclear program. And was helping us with intel on Al-Queda. He was also Secular and watched out for other religions in Libya. Obama wanted these whackadoodles in as the Government. As you I did feel sorry for him.
Thats cus Bush scared the crap out of the Libyan Loon
Especially after saw what Bush did to Saddam Hussain......
