U.S. Senator Mike Rogers, a Republican from Michigan, said there are hundreds of Americans who have connections with Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants.
Rogers, the head of the House Intelligence Committee, voiced out on Sunday his fear that the Americans with ISIS links could enter the U.S. using their American passports. He also mentioned that some of them trained with the militant group, Albawaba News reported.

Senator Rogers said some of those Americans have gone back to the U.S. and some to Europe. He said the attack on the Jewish Museum in Brussels was believed to be an ISIS-led activity, according to National Review.
The Michigan lawmaker revealed that the U.S. intelligence agency is monitoring the said Americans who have traveled or trained with ISIS at least once. In his opinion, these people should be officially charged once found out to have assisted the terrorist group in any way.
In an interview with Fox News Sunday, Rogers said the U.S. and British citizens who fly home after training with the Islamist militants pose a "very serious threat." He said a prosecution should be in order to discourage other people from following suit, Newsweek relayed.
On Thursday, U.S. President Barack Obama issued a statement saying his administration still has not come up with a strategy to deal with the ISIS threat. He also said he does not plan to launch further military offensives against the group in the near future.
Critics preyed on Obama's remarks, with the Senate Intelligence Committee chief saying Obama is being "too cautious" in addressing the ISIS problem.
Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain reportedly called out Obama's calculated Iraq airstrikes as merely "reactive half-measures."
Concerns rose over ISIS-linked U.S. citizens after two Americans were killed in Syria while fighting alongside the militant group.
ISIS currently controls a wide portion of central Syria and the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
I wouldn’t call them Americans. I’d call them enemies of Western Civilization.

“Were”? They are here and occupying posts at all levels of government and academia for starters. We have not defeated their ideology.
IS / ISIS / ISIL is orthodox Islam. There are millions of Muslims in the US. Is any wonder that some would be orthodox Muslims?
It’s amazing to me how many people, even well-educated people, believe the whole “Religion of Peace” nonsense. Before the expansion of Islam the Roman Empire was Christian. This included most of Europe, North Africa, the Levant, and Anatolia (Turkey). Christianity extended to the far reaches of Persia and India. In its first few centuries, Islam did not send out missionaries who peacefully preached the Koran and built schools and clinics.
IS / ISIS / ISIL is just following the orthodox Islam of the true Muslims of the First Century (H).
For domestic matters we might consider:

When people here in America declare their support for the Islamists I say we should deport them; but honor their religious practices. Send them to the Jihadists one piece at a time. We would be respectful of their religious practices.
If Americans are with the Jihadists fighting against American and allied forces we might consider the KGB approach.
