Well WJAS probably can't do much better than they can now, but who knows. Radio, whether AM or FM, has rules about stations not interfering with other stations. It may be possible for WJAS to change power or move their tower with FCC approval, but they can't cause interference. Some AM stations have set up small signals (in downtown areas, etc) on FM to simulcast their signal, or they wind up on a full-fledged FM signal as a simulcast. Don't know if that would happen with WJAS.

Note that some of the shows you like might be available for you on WWVA 1170 Wheeling or WKBN 570 Youngstown.

Here is the APPROXIMATE signal area of WJAS. Take with a grain of salt!
