--snip-- Some eager, inexperienced consumers have overindulged on the pot-infused food and then shown up in emergency rooms sweating and paranoid. Edibles were linked to the death of a Wyoming college student in Denver.

"There's been anecdotal evidence that some of the new consumers in the legalized market were not very well informed in terms of how to safely take that product," said Lewis Koski, Colorado's marijuana enforcement director.

He said legalization is drawing in all sorts of undesirables and that the locals hate the new legal pot laws.

It has forced the price of legal marijuana UP, and the price of illegal dealer's marijuana DOWN.

So, everyone is mad, but they don't get all that upset. Unless they can't get any.

Will the government mandate that the instructions are also in Spanish?

I work in the pharmaceutical industry, which is regulated to incredibly high standards. That’s a major part of why legitimate medicine costs so much.

I’ll support legalized “medical” marijuana only when it is held to the same standards as actual medicine.

So, when all the Darwin Award winners die from eating pot brownies, maybe people will trend toward having more sense than fogging up their brains with drugs.

In the 50's California started offering free college and other FREE bennies for folks who moved there - look how that turned out. Now we get a few States offering easy access to clean drugs - can't wait to see how many Rocky Mountain High stories develop over time.

And that is the Nazi Nanny state in a nutshell.

You're choices are NOT yours to make! The State will tell you what and how you will take your health choices at the point of a GUN!

I don’t think there really is anything to be saved from. If people knowingly use these products and do not normally experience sweating and paranoia, then they should have enough sense to realize those symptoms are caused by the product they just ate and are part of it’s effects. If they don’t like it, then they shouldn’t do it anymore.

People that don’t like spinning rooms, headaches and vomiting, quickly realize they had too much alcohol and don’t drink as much the next time.

every single pot brownie maker will be sued in ever civil DWI case.

Front and center of all these pothead products should be the “DO NOT OPERATE ANY MOTOR VEHICLE OF ANY KIND FOR THIRTY DAYS AFTER LAST USE.”
