I still need to read thru this discussion, but has the “threat level” been raised here domestically??? You know the whole lifesavers color coded chart thingamajig that was put in place by Bush, then revamped (as to not insult Islam) by the current Golfer-n-Chief???

We are being told 'No has not been raised'
We eliminated the threat coding system. It was making people either anxious, or numb, depending on who you believe.
The NTAS, national terrorism alert system, has a public page where we used to be able to see the current color coded threat assessment. As of the time of this posting there are: no current alerts, and no expired alerts. That’s right: nothing at all.
The system has not published an update since 05 SEP 2013.
(Not a typo... 2013. Almost a year. Think about what’s happened in the last year with Hamas, ISIL, Al Qaeda, etc. and let that thought sink in.)
