Berkley on the Colorado.... er... Austin went the same way. No plastic bags.
That's ok. I buy them by the thousands and I'm not in Austin frequently anyway. I make sure that when I am there, I take my own plastic bags and make a show of using them.

The Commonweath Communist of Massachusetts, also. The town of Brookline banned plastic bags due to false information and those paper bags are effing annoying.
