Steve Doocy and Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney (Ret.) discussed the apparent shift by the Obama administration over the past few days.
McInerney agreed that someone from the White House spoke to Dempsey, leading to the revised comments on Sunday. He argued that, just like in 2012 prior to the Benghazi attack, the White House is looking to downplay the terror threat before an election.
"They knew an attack was coming and they ignored it. Just for the election," he said.
He then warned about the prospect of another large-scale terror attack, saying Sept. 11 is an "attractive date" for ISIS.
"I believe that we should go to DEFCON 1 and be prepared for another strike. ... I believe American cities will be attacked and we should be prepared for it," he said.
"The American people are in danger. We need a massive air campaign in Iraq and Syria," said McInerney, noting that he believes members of ISIS have already infiltrated across the southern border.

Maybe DEFCON-1 would NOT be an overreaction. The 9-11 anniversary is coming up really fast, and the Islamic Jihadists seem to be transfixed by some mystical significance attached to that date - Remember September 11, 2012? The Benghazi takedown was planned IN ADVANCE for that date.

Baloney. Refusing or avoiding to do what needs to be done to eliminate these vermin (i.e., nuking them) on the notion that “this is what they want” (death and their 47 virgins) is BULLS**T. That’s buying in to their pigheaded agenda, validating their propaganda, and believing that the “religion” of ISLAM, and the word of the QURAN is true. I say BULLS**T. ISLAM is a cult, a club of terrorists. When killed, they will be D.E.A.D. Gone. FINISHED. FOREVER. Who cares what they think is waiting for them when they die. We won’t have to deal with them anymore!
Wondering if Gen. McInerney knows anything new about the missing Malaysian airliner. Perhaps ISIS has prepped it for a delivery?

McInerney, if memory serves, is not one to make grand observations or predictions without prudent and due diligence. One hopes that he happens to be wrong here.

That was my first thought but my second was wait when have you ever heard a retired American General warning us to go to DEFCON 1.

dr. jim garrow (ex cia) has been pounding this kind of info on his fb page that he has credible intelligence of attacks coming soon in CITIES and he also says 911 date...i hope hes wrong but hes been begging people to be prepared and stay vigilant
