ballot initiative to make private gun sales without a background check illegal in Nevada.

Such a law, once passed, will criminalize just about all gun owners over a short period of time. It will shortly develop that a "transfer" is deemed to occur when a weapon is brought into a house jointly occupied by a spouse or owned by a landlord. This is ultimately a Confiscation law.

From what I understand (questionable understanding!) is that if you wanted to “loan/rent” a gun to somebody to go hunting, or target shooting a check would be required for that “transfer” as well. Even if a resident. Of course the transfer of weapons amongst law breakers isn’t covered under this load of horse manure. No offense to horse manure intended.
