We have fluoride filters on our Berkey which takes it all out. Before the Berkey we drank bottled spring water.

"...Here in Houston they are starting to use chloramine instead of chlorine to treat the water. I’ve read up about it and I’m 100% against it..." Why are you against it? I also live in Houston. I found that Chloramine does not evaporate like chlorine does. Is that a yellow flag?
My neighborhood has very old pipes that collapse regularly. I want as much bacteria-killing stuff in my water as possible, within reason.
