Rather is very lucky to have gotten out of SVN alive. I heard lots of stories about Marines who wanted to kill him for his horrible, anti-American reporting.

Others on fantasy or potential mental hit lists were Morley Safer and Don Brewster. Assume that the rest of the CBS slimes were not well liked either.

If only half of the stories I was told about CBS personnel (while I was in Nam as a journalist), were true, they should have been in jail for 20 years, or more.
