If this happens the Democrat party might become extinct starting with the November elections. First, I would think many union members would see their jobs threatened as a flood of cheap labor would drive down wages. Second, the African American vote could be jeopardized as they might see a flood of illegals as taking away the welfare and racial minority benefits to which they feel entitled. Lastly, the utter and brazen lawlessness of this action, might sicken all but the most liberal of Democrats.
The Unions should be the voice of the common man, years ago, Unions were adamant against illegal immigration as a job stealer but they may have joined the Democrat fold on this, becoming convinced the jobs illegals took were not necessarily Union jobs. That is the reasoning but obviously, some jobs could be Union such as say meat packers.
