On the Friday broadcast of The McLaughlin Group, columnist Pat Buchanan predicted that President Obama would grant amnesty to illegal immigrants via executive order by Labor Day and that such an action would set the country completely on fire.
After Washington Examiner Chief Congressional Correspondent Susan Ferrechio argued that Democrats could gain from Hispanic voters turning out, especially if the president decides to take key executive actions in this summer that would help Hispanics who are here in the country, perhaps living here illegally. That could boost popularity for the party, Buchanan responded executive amnesty will set the country completely on fire. I do agree, it might get out the Hispanic vote, but you will have red state Democrats denouncing the president for doing it, for engaging in unconstitutional action. It would be a tremendous firestorm which would really polarize the nation.

It’s probably more likely that Obama will issue this executive order in Dec 2016 or Jan 2017 right before leaving office, along with an executive pardon for any and all illegals. What could be a more fitting way for him to give the collective finger to Americans?
Nah, he is going to do around Labor Day.
Jaba the Hutt!
Actually, I think I was conflating Mort with his wife.
Germond always reminded me of Sydney Greenstreet (from The Maltese Falcon and Casablanca).
Obama has put all the pieces in place to nuke the U.S., either through his terrorist buddies he has allowed to stream over the border for five years, or though the military from which he has purged everyone with a spine.
If Obama leaves the continental U.S., watch for the nukes to go off. (Of course, if he leaves the continental U.S. for that reason, we won’t know about it.)
The first time I saw Jaba the Hutt, I thought: Jack Germond!
He once said something true. It was true about Reagan and Bush as individuals, as well as their followers:
“The Reagan people came to Washington to do something. The Bush people came to Washington to be somebody.”
Gee. We wouldn’t want to polarize the nation...
Uh, Pat. It is already on fire.
I sincerely hope that Pat is wrong this time.
Great quote!
He isn't. Obama and his people are saying they are going to do this (amnesty). Why don't you believe that?
yep I can see it now
brain dead US citizens with full bellies glued to those I phones just setting the world on fire....
Yeah rrrRRiIIIGHT ! LOL
At this point, i would like to see the country on fire.
Seems too many people in the USA could care less as long as the Government keeps distributing free money and the TV still works. Time for a little real hope and change and reality.
If you yourself, have not personally counseled untold members of the next generation to stay the hell off chatty websites, well, I wonder just what the hell you are thinking!
But it's OK to tell yourself (and the world) that the majority of conservative USA citizens are asleep, lazy, and cowering in fear.
Everyone can serve a purpose...even unwittingly. LOL!
Have a nice day.

after a lifetime of being beat down, I sometimes have a fantasy daydream of going down in a blaze of glory as a "terrorist" AKA minuteman patriot lone wolf militia (how about that for keywords NSA)
but no, ill just keep working until they Obamacare me as theyll just keep raising the retirement age and send me bills for Fire prevention fees, or Amnesty Coverage Tax, or Riot Suppression Supplemental Tax or whatever until the turnip is bled dry and blows away like a tumbleweed in Harry Reids back yard
Let's see...what am I doing to try to reach and deprogram Generation.com? Well, there's:
* writing and recording rock songs with conservative and patriotic messages that young people will actually listen to,
* recording "videos" and posting them to You Tube, and
* wracking my brain trying to get people to listen to them so maybe, just maybe, they'll hear the message.
What are you doing? Hmmmmmmm? Talking? "Counsel" them all you want, but they're not listening. I used to work with young people at a Job Corps center here in Idaho. You can talk 'til you're blue in the face, and they won't listen. But they do listen to music and watch Tosh.0. If we were smart, we'd be coming up with media like that with which to deliver our message. But pop culture, arts and entertainment are sooooooo below us, right? We're so good and upright, just like the Church Lady, doing the superior dance while the Left undermines our moral high ground.
"I don't know if you've noticed yet, but the alternative media and the Internet has exploded exponentially in the last fifteen years."
Here's the thing about that...with the proliferation of alternative media, you'd think every young person in America would be joining the College Republicans while attending Liberty University, right? Only they're not. Because those "alternative" media are nothing but the same ol' types of shows and periodicals the Leftist dinosaur media have been churning out for decades, only with a different spin. The same ol' talk shows, the same ol' panel discussions, the same ol' talking head newscasts. Booooooooring. No one under the age of 30 watches that kind of crap, and not many under 40. Again, we're not smart enough to come up with programming that Generation X and Generation.com will accept in which to wrap our message.
I can tell you more of what I'm doing, if you want to compare "sizes":
* building a blog and podcast,
* organizing a veterans' group, to be called POVUS (PO'd Veterans of the US), and
* working to organize a rally after the Veterans' Day parade here in Boise.
All this while recovering from spinal surgery three weeks ago. Is that enough of a "purpose" for you?
Okay, your turn. What are you doing other than flapping your gums?
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Don’t get me wrong. I am far from shuffling into a freight car. I made the FMCDH decision when Heston was still alive. I am reminded of Ghurchill’s speech about “when will we fight?”
