It is SICKENING to listen to left-wingers blame “poverty” for the world’s problems...since that is NOT the case and never has been (e.g., personal safety did not become a concern in Harlem until liberals started explaining away crime...and not jailing the bad guys in the 1960s - yet there was definitely widespread poverty, if not some starvation).
Maybe, and maybe not. A lot of people in England live in so-called council houses (owned by the government and used by poor people). The bigger the family, the bigger the council house you're entitled to live in.
