Gov. Rick Perry (R) seems to be enjoying the spotlight that has come with pushing back to his recent indictment.
The latest move: His new political action committee unveiled a T-shirt featuring Perry's mug shot. The back of the shirt features the mug shot of District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg, whose character Perry has repeatedly tried to attack while making her the poster child of his pushback.

"that a special prosecutor, Al Gore backer Michael McCrum, is pressing the felony charges against Perry."
And one of the grand jury panelists is a Democrat activist and delegate.

Yep, the “Tolerant” and “Celebrate Diversity” and “COEXIST” crowd are actually a very nasty bunch.
Too bad they couldn’t use the old Horton quote:

Wow. While I don’t think Alinsky tactics have to be used in every instance, it is hard to resist when the target to isolate and freeze is all gift-wrapped and video recorded for you.
Not only does she not have any character, she apparently has no brain. What would possess her need for retaliation vs. Perry to allow this prosecution to go forward, knowing as she must that she would become the target of severe public scorn.
As a non-Texan, I remembered vaguely the story of a TX DA being arrested for being drunk, but had no memory for any detail. Now, with the indictment, I’ve seen all the pix, her mug shot, the hold-down chair, the spitter. Who in their right mind would not just let that be lost down the memory hole instead of bringing in to national attention? Maybe “right mind” is the key here.
