How very telling that he’s citing “The Departed”:
After all, it’s a movie about DECEPTION —about a “hero cop” who in fact turns out to be the inside tool of a CRIMINAL.
Most people don’t know that as part of some stupid Harvard program Obama did, albeit briefly, work at an investment bank, something he writes about in Dreams of My Father.
Know how he described that experience?
That he felt LIKE A REBEL BEHIND **ENEMY LINES**.
Nice, huh? So:
Why is he REALLY citing the movie, The Departed, hmmmm ?
Maybe something MORE going on there, in the back of his mind?
“The Departed” is about an intelligent, ambitious, clean-looking man who joins an elite entity whose premise is to HELP AND PROTECT society.
But the lead character acts within his position of trust to SUBVERT the entity he’s charged and paid and entrusted to protect:
WHO DOES THAT SOUND LIKE..?
DO YOU REALIZE HOW INCREDIBLY **TELLING** IT IS THAT HE LIKED THIS MOVIE SO MUCH?
