No. He could say he's just helping it along. More likely, he'd claim that it helps the survivability of the species as a whole, or that the movement for euthanasia is part of the evolution. He could also say that it doesn't matter, as there is no actual purpose to any of it, but that would preclude advice one way or the other. How miserable.
