Same principle.

“The legislature is holding Impeachment hearings today for this Judge right??”

Well, the legislature supported Common Core in their last session, and failed to pass the motion to repeal it, which was why Jindal was taking Executive action, in the first place. So most of them are probably just fine with this judge’s ruling.

Hopefully jindal will disprove my pu$$y republicans theory (Rick Perry) and impeach this guy. Surely they can’t all be panty waists!

You mean, you didn’t know there’s a right not to be anxious in the Constitution? It’s right between the right not to be offended and the right to school lunches.

Yes I remember the battles over busing.

And I remember how busing didn’t achieve its goals, because people “OPTED OUT”. Big numbers of people either moved out of the school districts, or put their children in private/parochial schools, to avoid all of that.

I recall one school district, Prince George’s County, Maryland, in which so many white students left the district, that black students were being bused across the county to schools which were 85% black. And black parents there started the movement to end busing, because it clearly wasn’t resulting in integration. Not after so many whites left the school district.

They stopped translating the law when they did not like the law and became legislators and now Executives!

Governor Jindal is damn lucky he wasn’t indicted and arrested by the Orleans Parish D.A.!

Don't give them any ideas.

So now “common core” has gone from a completely voluntary program crafted from the states with no federal involvement or ulterior motives (as its proponents have claimed). To a “constitutional right” that can be imposed by judicial fiat....

those with young kids and who are sharp to the evil game being played by most all Govt agencies will eventually have to home school.

Nowhere will be safe from the tentacles. Even my tiny rural school will submit and so will everybody else’s schools too. And we will still have to pay taxes that go to these reprogramming institutions.

Are the interests fighting in favor of this dehumanizing agenda in Louisiana identified?

"Judge Shopping" is not just a tactic when the Good Guys use it. Why didn't the equivalent to a state assembly in Baton Rouge toss this monster.

And if it's "anxiety" the judge is worried about, why not hand out some more pills to everyone? Hey, it works for those "meddling kids."

Since Boehner, McConnell, McCain, Graham, and the other rinos who are afraid of being called a conservative by the mess media, may as well quit since they don’t want to fight. The lawyers and judges will do their job for them. The politician who won’t do their job and fight for their constitutes are no different then the welfare queens who do nothing and collect a government paycheck.

“Can a judge override a governor making an executive decision of this kind? Really?”

That stood out to me, too. If a judge can override a governor, why do we have governors?

*An educated citizenry is a danger to the task masters.*

Have you looked at this Common Core training? It seems to me that it is purposefully trying to make our children fail.

Why is anyone surprised? Falls right in with the Regime’s plan....

Bobby Jindal is a good American! God Bless him in his efforts.

Judge Todd Hernandez sounds just like that judge in NC. So perhaps Jindal should do what NC did, and encourage the legislature to take such cases out of the hands of superior court judges and give them to a 3 judge panel created by the state supreme court.

Importantly, *not* the chief justice, who is a Democrat, but by a vote of the entire court.

I'm starting to wonder if Common Core is really about covering up for incompetent teachers instead of making a new way for children to learn.

It's about dumbing down the curricula so that today's teachers can do something resembling teaching because they, the products of the past 20 years of teaching, failed to learn the 3 R's themselves and cannot teach the content the old ways.

That's my theory, anyway.

Home schooling will be required to teach common core eventually if it is to be allowed by federal bureaucrats. Count on it.
