With the emergence over the past 18 months of the Islamic State (IS), the West, led by the U.S., now finds itself in a world war, whether we want to believe it or not.
The Islamic State is not simply an Iraqi problem or a Syrian problem. IS has metastasized into a worldwide organization with 20,000 recruits from Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, the U.S., Great Britain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Spain, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Germany. Even worse, Jihadists from Boko Haram in Nigeria, Abu Sayyef in the Philippines, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb in Northwest Africa and Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula from Yemen have all pledged allegiance to IS.
There can no longer be any doubt that the global Islamic insurgency that some have been warning about for some time, amounts to a world war. Nevertheless, policymakers here in the U.S. continue to ignore or deny this reality.
Over the period of a generation, the West has allowed itself to be thoroughly infiltrated by a savage and barbaric belief system. This is evidenced by the global base of recruitment that the Islamic State has been able to take advantage of and the numerous public displays of support for IS in the West.

We will soon.
And following Islam’s travesty, hopefully I can re check out in something bad and drop a few on Mecca.
Maybe we'll tire of being understanding... only time will tell.
Here’s a short story about this topic, penned about 8 years ago - VERY interesting reading: http://www.dansimmons.com/news/message/2006_04.htm
Islam is at war with America.
So is Barack Obama.
Our dear old United States is too dumb to know when it is at war. Our leaders certainly don’t since they vacation and play golf. May God have mercy on our Souls.
BINGO!
The problem is the fact that WE (our western society) have short memories. We can’t remember anything for more than a few news cycles.
Our ENEMY (Islam), on the other hand, has a long memory. Typically, they think in terms of hundreds (even 1,000s) of years and multiple generations.
We are at war. But this has been the case for a VERY long time.
Your first sentence made the second unnecessary.
“Our ENEMY (Islam), on the other hand, has a long memory. Typically, they think in terms of hundreds (even 1,000s) of years and multiple generations.”
Yeah, we think in terms of American Idol seasons.
The people will have to fight this war on their own.
Greenfield: What is Wrong with ISIS, is What is Wrong with Islam
Sultan Knish blog ^ | Tuesday, August 19, 2014 | Daniel Greenfield
The religious and ethnic strife in the Middle East out of which ISIS emerged and which has become its brand, goes back over a thousand years. If support for terrorism emerges from radicalization, then the armies of Islam were radicalized in the time of Mohammed and have never been de-radicalized.
Terrorism is not reactive. As ISIS has shown us, it has a vision for the future. The Caliphate, like the Reich, is a utopia which can only be created through the mass murder and repression of all those who do not belong. This isnt a new vision. Its the founding vision of Islam.
What is wrong with ISIS is what is wrong with Islam.
We can defeat ISIS, but we should remember that its roots are in the hearts of the Sunni Muslims who have supported it. ISIS and Al Qaeda are only symptoms of the larger problem.

Instead of blaming the evil, they go neutralize the issue saying war is evil, making both sides equal as if there were no good nor bad.
Kill Japs kill Japs kill more Japs.
That was a long read but worthwhile
obama knows. he doesn’t want you to know. makes him look bad.
many on the right know. many can’t do anything b/c they’re under obama.
Not for long, when these Islamist terrorists pull off an attack like what happened to the Russians, taking over a school in the U.S.A. and beheading lots of children. It's what these monsters do, and U.S. policymakers will say they didn't see it coming.
