ISIS had recently threatened to kill U.S. journalist James Foley to avenge airstrikes the United States has conducted in Iraq, a senior U.S. official told ABC News.
The White House had been aware of the threat prior to the release of a video Tuesday night that appears to show the beheading of Foley and warns that militants will carry out a similar act against U.S. journalist Steven Sotloff, who went missing in August, the official said.

Yep, and trying to make sure that Bradley “Chelsea” Manning is getting all of his transgenderism drugs and treatments.
He was coming back for something unrelated to any current events as it was on his schedule. Heck, maybe even he doesn’t know why he came back..... it was on the schedule so he did as he was told by VJ!
Even Cameron has cut short his vacation because he now knows it was a British citizen who butchered Foley. If this monster was let loose from Gitmo under Obama, will he cut short his vacation?
And will he bother to put in a phone call to Cameron to figure out what steps must be taken to end this slaughter?!

Ok, this is it. Obama knew this was coming and was in communications or negotiations for a while. There was a deadline given, which was obviously yesterday. When the facts come out, and they are now saying they knew of this prior......prior to what? Answer........prior to THE vacation. He can now say he returned to DC to attempt to stop this but to no avail.

I understand your emotion - it’s only natural. If you still are having nightmares, please seek help. My husband and I witnessed 9/11 and while we didn’t experience any sustained trauma, we did know plenty of people who sought therapy and got some tranquilizers to sleep. Sleep is very important when someone is highly stressed. Nightmares are a disaster to mental health!

Well in the first place I didn't post to you. In the second, I'm curious as to the point people are trying to make here. Say the administration had been told by ISIS that if we bombed them then they'd murder this journalist. What was the administration supposed to do? Not bomb? Back down? Or go ahead and do what needed to be done?
This guy was more terrorist sympathizer & activist than journalist.
