The same forces will be arrayed against McConnell's proposal as were arrayed against Ted Cruz when McConnell went belly up. The media will still be against the tactic and the country will never fully understand what is happening because people like McConnell do not prepare the ground, cannot deliver the message, have sold out to K St. and have an interest only in pretense.
