A South Florida mother who knows the pain of losing a son firsthand has written an open letter in support of the family of Michael Brown, the 18-year-old killed by a police officer in Ferguson, MO earlier this month....

“They both were unarmed. They were both teenagers. They both were African Americans and the both were shot and killed by a non-African American,” Fulton said.

the lament

“If only they could have been killed by their own kind ... like thousands of other young Black children and teenagers in the past year...we would not be having this pain... and media attention”

They have one more thing in common: both ASSAULTED someone and were threatening to kill them.

Well said.

“They both were unarmed. They were both teenagers. They both were African Americans and the both were shot and killed by a non-African American,” Fulton said.

They were both thugs and both celebrated the thug lifestyle, both juiced up on drugs, both from broken/disfunctional homes, both had extensive juvenile records (not proven on Brown yet, but it will be)......

"two sets of failed parents looking to blame someone else for their inability to instill values in their sons."

Unwilling? Unable? Disinterested?

I don't know. I'm guessing lots of freepers grew up like I did or have children they have raised or are trying to raise. Answer these questions.

What would your parents have done/said or what would you have done/said to your children if:

1. (You or your children) were skulking around a condo development at night, casing the place, and attacked someone who challenged you?
2. (You or your children) were wrestling/attacking police or security guards?
3. (You or your children) just strong armed a store clerk and it was on tape?
4. (You or your children) attacked someone with a gun and tried to wrestle the gun from them?

Is there a pattern here? I think there were some other incidents leading up to the climactic ones.

Sounds like bad parenting and both Mama’s should take a big part of the blame. I need another box of tissues, I’m starting to tear up again. Blahhhhhhhhhhhh.
