The obvious question is: if this source is high-up in the national media, why hasn’t he broken the story yet?
Even if he doesn’t recant, does bring up the fact that he is COMPLETELY screwed unless he does. A party to a felony + somebody died = felony murder. He takes the fall for Brown’s death no matter how the story works out.
