I am glad he confessed. It is good for his soul. So much turmoil will now be prevented.

My husband predicted this morning that they will drop the case when the medical report on poor officer Wilson comes out.

The problem is, will this stir the hornet’s nest further or will they all go home and self-comfort?

They win either way. If the officer doesn't get convicted, it helps their argument that the "system is rigged". They made "Trayvon" into a household name, synonymous with "injustice to blacks" despite the evidence in the case.

Unfortunately for the radical race-baiters (i.e. the Obama admin) this perp didn't have a catchy name like "Trayvon", so they're going to have a hard time getting people to remember this in a few months time.

The official version will be doubted because it is official. Any recantations, any change to the St Trayvon of Skittles meme ginned up for the purpose of looting and pillaging will be regarded as either a ploy to stop the looting and pillaging or beaten (or otherwise coerced) out of the witnesses to stop the looting and pillaging. After all it was a cracka against a brutha, and that draws the battle lines, often among allegedly thinking people.

So it doesn't matter what is said at this point, there is stuff to take and there are buildings to burn, and until the thieves have gorged their appetites, and the ruins are done smoldering, the crap will continue, regardless.

What's right, what's wrong haven't mattered since the first angry voice in the aftermath of the shooting.

And regardless, the media will continue to sell soap.

The hornet's nest. The facts are not relevant. Never have been, never will be. I did see a white female at the riot scene say this is the start of the revolution. Is it time to get it over, once and for all? It sounds like that is what some of them want.
