Ross Perot?
He's the one responsible for getting OJ Clinton elected. If George Bush had not turned his back on the Reagan Revolution and broken his "no new taxes" pledge, the Reagan Democrats would not have flocked to Perot.

GHWB read the polling Tea Leaves in '92 and threw in the towel. Perot pulled about 9% of the vote, leaving Clinton about 1% ahead. Basically, Bush dogged the campaign. Throwing federal charges at the cop who saved Rodney King's worthless life was no help, either.
